The ECO2RUPPERS South East Volunteer Zone is designed to mobilize a network of eco-conscious youths across all 95 Local Government Areas (LGAs) through the largest national Green Citizen Impact campaign in Africa. The initiative activates practical measures to domesticate the SDG Decade of Action and accelerate the transition toward a low-carbon economy.

The volunteer platform establishes a network of community-based SDG Action Marshals who are specifically trained, empowered, and deployed to contribute to the creation of a greener, cleaner, gender-responsive, and socially inclusive society with a net-zero footprint. This is achieved through multi-industry, multi-stakeholder, and multicultural civic action campaigns that foster a climate of green profits in South East Nigeria.

ECO2RUPPERS South East is strategically positioned to drive a statewide, gender- and youth-based Development Impact Marshals Program, grounded in the conviction that women and youths are essential at the forefront of leadership and action to ensure inclusive, sustainable, and equitable progress and development in the South Eastern States.
